Today's Ukrainian society has accepted the challenges caused by war with dignity. Many of our ideas were transformed and everyone found their practice of releasing emotions. I am glad that Ukrainians have chosen the path of struggle, development, and truth. We have become more adaptive and optimistic. Statistics show that 60% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine will be able to build a strong economy and soon become a member of the European Union.
And how in practice? Despite the war, we produce, launch, build, and invent. According to the Global Skill Report 2022, this year Ukraine took 8th place in the first category «most modern» in terms of technologies. And according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, from February to June, Ukrainians opened more than 50 000 new businesses. Boldly? So. Unbelievable? So. This was made possible by bringing together internal industry players and external European communities. This support and collaboration with partners allowed our team not to stop, but on the contrary to reach a new level of realization of its capabilities, cooperation, and interaction. Many things happened to us for the first time this year:
FOR THE FIRST TIME, we were the only Ukrainian company among the exhibitors at the AСНEMA 2022 exhibition, where more than 2200 exhibitors from more than 50 countries demonstrated the latest equipment and innovative processes for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries in Frankfurt this year. But we will talk about this later on the pages of the magazine.
FOR THE FIRST TIME, we released a digital version of the magazine. The number you are reading right now is just that! We, like our partners – pharmaceutical manufacturers and solution providers, were also interested in the elements of digitalization and how they can be implemented in our field. Now, in addition to the usual printed and online magazine, we offer our readers and associates a digital magazine with built-in interactive and video content. Such a pleasant sound of turning pages has not changed. Contact the editors to find out how to get your copy.
FOR THE FIRST TIME, together with the organizers of the CPHI WW exhibition, we held a webinar «Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry: opportunities and challenges». The participants were the top managers of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers «InterChem», «Lekhim» and «Farmak», as well as the first Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine. How did six months of the war go? How has the company and its management changed? What plans and innovations await in the future? See the recording at the link. But there will be more to come – our manufacturing companies have so much to do this year. Therefore, FOR THE FIRST TIME, we decided to dedicate a separate Special Issue to this. Expect it in December!
FOR THE FIRST TIME, we acted as co-founders of the Charity Fund «Industrial Community of Ukraine». Thanks to joint efforts with our partner Engenium Group, in six months of existence we twice managed to raise funds for equipment for the reception department of the trauma center of Kyiv Clinical Hospital No. 6.
FOR THE FIRST TIME, we took part in the scholarship educational and career project of the National Pharmaceutical University (NPhU) and the leading pharmaceutical companies of Ukraine. This year, thanks to the support of our advertising partners, our foundation provided 2 scholarships for NPhU students for the first time.
Our team, whose members always support each other, achieved these achievements thanks to the inspired work on new projects and the generation of new ideas.
Thank each of you!
Ukrainians are amazing. And this is not just a populist expression, these are the same research figures.
That is how we are in the eyes of 78% of foreigners who observe our struggle. We broke stereotypes about refugees, we already see Ukraine as a second Indonesia – a comfortable country of happy people.
Let's go further! Together we will win! #StandWithUkraine
Тhank you!
