Negotiations on the implementation of the investment project "Establishing the production of blood preparations" in Uzbekistan were held in the Pharmaceutical industry development agency with participation of management and representatives of the Chinese company "HINDEUAN BIOENGINEERING". This year, as part of the Forum organized in Samarkand region, representatives of "HINDEUAN BIOENGINEERING" company visited Uzbekistan and held negotiations with the governor of Samarkand region and the Minister of Health regarding the implementation of the project.
During the negotiations held in Samarkand region, the project was established in the "Urgut" FEZ located in Jomboy district of Samarkand region. Agreements have been reached on implementation on 15 hectares of land.
In addition, the Ministry of Health offered to form a working group with the participation of specialists from the Ministry, the Pharmaceutical industry development agency and the officials of the Samarkand Region Government and organize a business trip to China to get acquainted with the production processes of blood preparations of the company "HINDEUAN BIOENGINEERING".
During the meeting held at the Pharmaceutical industry development agency, it was announced by the Chinese representatives that a working group consisting of technical staff of the "HINDEUAN BIOENGINEERING" company will visit Uzbekistan in July 2023, and it was reported that pre-project documents will be prepared in order to implement the project (6-8 months are required).
During the meeting, it was note that company will fully launch the project for 4 year, of which 3 years will be the establishment of blood plasma collection centers in the regions and the complex for the production of ready-made medicines from it. implementation of organizational issues related to the state registration of drugs in the prescribed manner was announced.
The total cost of the project is 250 mln. US dollars, of which 50 mln. US dollars for the organization of blood plasma collection centers and 200 mln. US dollars will be used to build a manufacturing plant. It was noted that the financing of the project will be carried out at the expense of "HINDEUAN BIOENGINEERING" company.
As a result of the launch of the project, first of all, after the full satisfaction of the internal needs of the republic, exports to the countries of Central Asia, the CIS and Europe are expected. According to the representative of the company, in order to develop the work of the blood transfusion center, which is planned to be created in the Samarkand region, medical equipment for the allocation of blood plasma will be allocated free of charge and training of the staff of the center will begin on its use.
