In Ukraine, a Council was created to support entrepreneurship in the conditions of martial law, which included 7 businessmen, including the president of the company "Biopharma" Kostyantyn Yefimenko.
The Council will be a consultative and advisory body under the President of Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the relevant Decree on January 26, 2024.
The council also included: co-founder of Netpik LLC Artem Borodatyuk, co-founder of Fintech Band LLC and monobank Oleg Horokhovskyi, member of the board of representatives of the Association "Information Technologies of Ukraine" and co-owner of Softserv LLC Taras Kytsmei, president of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP), co-owner of "Nova poshta" LLC Vyacheslav Klymov, member of the board of directors of SUP and co-owner of "Ajax Systems Manufacturing" LLC (Ajax Systems) Oleksandr Konotopskyi and chairman of the Council of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Dmytro Oliynyk.
"The main tasks of the Council are:
- systematic analysis of the situation regarding the provision of the right to entrepreneurship in the conditions of martial law, the practice of forming and implementing state policy regarding the observance of guarantees of the right to entrepreneurship, working on the results of such analysis and submitting to the President of Ukraine proposals on possible ways and mechanisms for solving problematic issues;
- consideration of draft laws on entrepreneurship, development of proposals for improvement of the legislation of Ukraine regarding the conduct of business entities;
- promoting the establishment of effective interaction of the state with economic entities, public associations representing their interests, spreading the best international experience," the Decree says.
